Wade precast concrete cattle stops are designed to control livestock access at farm entrances and rural driveways without the need for gates.
A complete cattle stop is formed from two modular units, each 1.8 m wide, creating a 3.6 m-wide crossing. Each unit measures 2.2 m in the direction of travel.
The cattle stop can be positioned at road level with the road built up to its height, or sunk partway into the ground before the surrounding road level is built up to match.
Road-level installation:
Place the cattle stop at road level and build the road up to the cattle stop height
Partially recessed installation:
Sink the cattle stop partway into the ground and build the road up to the cattle stop height.
