Prepare a clear, level area and construct a stable, compacted base. Confirm the position of the water supply before positioning the trough.
Use suitable certified lifting equipment and the approved lifting method. Never drag, push or drop the trough, and never lift it while it contains water. Ensure the entire base is supported and that the trough does not rock on an uneven surface.
Once positioned, check that the trough is level, connect the valve and water supply, then fill and test for leaks. This trough uses a 20 mm trough socket.
Transport and store the trough in a stable position and take additional care when moving concrete products over uneven ground. Inspect the trough and connections periodically.
