The Wade 150 Gallon Round Concrete Trough with Cast-In Ballcock Protector is a 690 L precast concrete stock-water trough suitable for sheep and cattle. It combines a round concrete trough with a dedicated cast-in housing protecting the valve and ballcock.
The trough measures 1,610 mm in diameter and 500 mm high, with a weight of 650 kg. This trough uses a 25 mm trough socket.
The ballcock protection housing is part of this dedicated protected model. It is separate from Wade’s optional Low Ballcock Protector offered on standard unprotected troughs.

CAST-IN BALLCOCK PROTECTION
This dedicated protected model includes its ballcock protection housing as part of the trough. The $68 Low Ballcock Protector is an optional extra for standard unprotected troughs and is not the same product.

Prepare a clear, level area and construct a stable, compacted base. Confirm the position of the water supply before positioning the trough.
Use suitable certified lifting equipment and the approved lifting method. Never drag, push or drop the trough, and never lift it while it contains water. Ensure the entire base is supported and that the trough does not rock on an uneven surface.
Once positioned, check that the trough is level, connect the valve and water supply, then fill and test for leaks. This trough uses a 25 mm trough socket.
Transport and store the trough in a stable position and take additional care when moving concrete products over uneven ground. Inspect the trough and connections periodically.
